An Assumption Parish man has been sentenced in Napoleonville to 96 years in prison for sex crimes involving six children ranging from age 5 to 15.

53-year-old Kim Bernuchaux of Pierre Part got the maximum penalty for each of his six counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile.

As part of the sentence's terms, he will have no opportunity for probation, parole or suspension.
