NEW: BR man's book cover, claims father is Zodiac Killer
BATON ROUGE - The Zodiac Killer's son lives here and he's ready to tell-all in a new book, according to New York Magazine.
Monday, the magazine posted a story on its website that Gary Stewart, of Baton Rouge, will be releasing a book through Harper Collins chronicling the search for his birth father and realizing the man he was searching for was the most notorious murderer in America.
"Our lawyers felt it was legally sound," a publicist for the book company told magazine writer Elon Green.
The book, titled The Most Dangerous Animal of All, started out as a journal, capturing the details of Stewart's search for his biological father. It becomes a true crime memoir.
Local crime writer Susan Mustafa is also listed as an author. The book is set to be released Tuesday, May 13th. The book's website listed prices ranging from $14 for a electronic reader edition to $17 for a traditional, hardcover copy.
Mustafa and Stewart could not be reached for comment for this story.
