CUT OFF - A man was charged Sunday with a fourth-offense DWI after deputies in Lafourche Parish found him sleeping behind the wheel of his pickup truck in the drive-thru lane of a fast food restaurant in Cut Off.
According to the Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office, 50-year-old Trent Callais showed visible signs of impairment and performed poorly on a field sobriety test administered by responding deputies. Callais, a resident of Cut Off, was found at around 2:45 a.m. at the restaurant, located on East Main Street.
