Man facing molestation charge after groping victim
BATON ROUGE - A 70-year-old man has been arrested for inappropriately touching a juvenile.
On May 24 deputies began a follow investigation into the molestation of a juvenile. According to the arrest report, the victim was in her bedroom when the suspect walked in and asked for a hug.
The suspect was identified as Julius Johnson.
While hugging the girl, Johnson allegedly grabbed the victim's breast and made a sexual comment.
The victim slapped Johnston's hands and kicked him out of her room. She then locked the door and Johnston left.
On June 1, Johnston was interviewed by authorities at which point he denied the accusations. Johnston told authorities that the girl was making the whole thing up.
Johnston agreed to take a polygraph test to prove his innocence, but the test showed he wasn't telling the truth.
Johnston is charged with molestation of a juvenile.
