Man faces disciplinary action after urinating in public
PRAIRIEVILLE - A construction company said it will go door-to-door to meet and apologize to people who saw one of its workers relieving himself in broad daylight.
The company told WBRZ News 2, executives will visit with the people on Highway 73 in Ascension Parish and plans to discipline the worker.
WBRZ first reported the incident Wednesday night after a viewer said she took a picture around noon that day of a man trying to hide behind the door of his truck in a parking lot. She said he turned the lot into a bathroom and was relieving himself.
"The action of one individual does not represent the standard of work we have set forth over the years. We apologize to any individual that saw this take place and we have taken action to prevent this from happening again," the company said in an email.
Administrators would not elaborate about what disciplinary action would be taken because "they've never dealt with such a situation before" one spokesman said.
The woman who took the picture said the man was back at work on Thursday.
