MORGANZA - A man was killed in a car crash on LA Hwy 10 in Pointe Coupee Parish around 6:30 a.m. Saturday, according to Louisiana State Police Tpr. Jared Sandifer.

James Webre, 45, of Krotz Springs was killed in the single vehicle crash. Webre was traveling eastbound on LA Hwy 10 east of LA Hwy 77 in a 1986 Chevy Camaro.

The car ran off the roadway to the left for unknown reasons and struck a tree head-on, according to Sandifer.

Webre was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
