Man dies in Christmas Eve collision
BATON ROUGE - A head-on collision late Christmas Eve left one man dead in Baton Rouge.
It happened around 8:30 p.m. in the 12000 block of Highland Road near Siegen Lane.
Sheriff's deputies say two vehicles were traveling east and west on Highland Road when they collided into each other.
Deputies believe the car traveling westbound may have crossed the center line, causing it to hit the other vehicle.
The driver of the westbound vehicle, 24-year-old Alexander Leboeuf, died at the scene.
The other driver was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
