Man describes crime in text message
A Slidell man was arrested and charged with terrorizing for sending a text message describing a robbery.
Police say a man received a text from Joshua Alred trying to recruit him to help with the proposed crime.
The text messages described how Alred was planning on robbing a Slidell woman of her prescription drugs.
Police say the man discussed Alred's plan with the intended victim, and the potential victim notified the Slidell Police Department.
The man told police that Alred described the split of the loot, saying he would get the biggest share because he might have to kill everyone in the house to get the drugs.
