Man charged with 100 counts of child pornography
BATON ROUGE - Investigators with the Attorney General's office arrested a 58-year-old man on 100 counts of child pornography.
According to the Department of Justice, Robert Hathaway was arrested Thursday. Authorities say the investigation stemmed from an undercover operation where computers with known child pornography were being shared online.
Investigators say say a search warrant was issued and an analysis of Hathaway’s computer was conducted and over 100 files of child pornography were found.
Hathaway told law enforcement officers that thousands of files of child pornography were on the computer and that he had been searching for child pornography for over a year and organize them into folders on a separate hard drive.
