ST. MARTINVILLE - A St. Martinville man has been arrested in the fatal beating of another man.

St. Martin Parish sheriff's deputies say the fight took place Saturday morning.

Deputies say 35-year-old Rule Boutte faces one count of manslaughter in the death of 59-year-old Warren Oliver, of Catahoula, who died shortly after he arrived at an area hospital.

The Sheriff's Office says the death remains under investigation.
