Man arrested with marijuana in diaper bag
BATON ROUGE - Police arrested a Baton Rouge man after investigators said his child's daycare found marijuana in the child's diaper bag.
Detectives charged Mark Williams, 40, with marijuana possession, cruelty to juveniles and improper supervision of a minor.
Police said they were called to a Baton Rouge daycare after the workers there said they found marijuana in one of the children's diaper bag. Officers said the child's clothes and hair also smelled strongly of marijuana.
Investigators contacted Williams, the child's father, and said he told them he did smoke marijuana at home but not around his child. He blamed the marijuana smell on the vents in his apartment.
Police arrested Williams and booked him into parish prison.
