Man arrested on new indecent behavior charge
BATON ROUGE - Sheriff's deputies arrested a Baton Rouge man after another accusation that he forced children staying with him to try on lingerie.
Detectives charged Blaine Doremus, 42, on Sunday with another count of indecent behavior with a juvenile. Investigators said one of the children under Doremus' care told them of another incident from March 2013, where she said Doremus forced her to try on see-through women's underwear in front of him.
Deputies originally arrested Doremus on Feb. 17 for five other counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile, and one count of sexual battery. His ex-girlfriend, 35-year-old Kathryn Frederick, also faces accessory charges.
Deputies said Doremus refused to speak to them about the new allegation, and they booked him into the parish prison.
