Man arrested in suspicious death investigation
LIVINGSTON - Authorities said a Livingston Parish man was arrested Wednesday night in a suspicious death investigation.
Livingston Police and the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office said Joseph A. Wilson was arrested for obstruction in connection with the death of 55-year-old Stacey Smith.
Investigators said Smith was found dead Tuesday morning at a residence on Bloss Avenue in Livingston. The sheriff's office announced earlier Wednesday they and Livingston Police were working together to investigate Smith's death.
Authorities charged Wilson with obstruction of justice and drug possession Wednesday.
