BATON ROUGE - Louisiana State Police arrested a man in a fatal head-on crash that killed a woman from Clinton on July 11.

Troopers say Matthew Harding, 30, had illegal drugs in his system when he crashed his truck intro a car and killed the driver Nancy Pierce, 48, according to a State Police press release.

It happened on Liberty Road near La. 64.

Harding is charged with vehicular homicide, third-offense DWI, reckless operation, driving left of center, aggravated obstruction of a highway and no seat belt.
