Baton Rouge- A man suspected in a deadly hit and run from May last year in Baton Rouge, is now behind bars.

Deputies arrested Wayne Station for hitting Durrell Anthony Ballard with his vehicle in the 7700 block of Hanks Drive.

Station admitted to authorities he had consumed several alcoholic beverages and had several DWI arrests in the past.

Station is charged with Vehicular Homicide, Hit and Run and Driving Under Suspension.
