A man wanted in connection with a string of car burglaries in St. Mary Parish, is now behind bars.
Tilton Hebert, of Lockport, admitted to breaking into a car in a Wal-Mart parking lot, as well as breaking into a car at the Warren J. Harang Civic Center.
Police found a number of stolen items, including purses, wallets and electronic devices, in Hebert's possession at the time of his arrest.
Tilton was booked on two counts of simple burglary. His bond is set at $10,000.
