Walker- A man who admitted to police he crashed into a home in Livingston Parish over the weekend, then took off on foot, is now behind bars.
Police say early Saturday morning, Ashlyn Schroeder walked out of her home on Gaylord Road in Walker and found a car crashed into her garage.
They say 52 year-old Terry Korkosz crashed his father's car into the home, fled to his father's home and locked himself in his bedroom.
Officers went to the home and found Korkosz, where he admitted to crashing the car into the home.
Korkosz was booked into the Livingston Parish Jail and is being held on a $5,500 bond.
No one was injured in the crash.
