BATON ROUGE - A man was arrested accused of kidnapping and attacking an 11-year-old boy.

Police say Eric Lands, 36, saw the child walking Dec. 1 on North Foster Drive near Madison Street and forced him into his car and sexually assaulted the boy.

The suspect was arrested after the child identified Lands in a photo lineup, the warrant says.

Lands is charged with sexual battery and simple kidnapping, according to parish prison records.
