A Kentucky man is charged with impersonating an officer after he allegedly stopped a car on I-10 in Metairie and pulled a gun on the driver.

Deputies say Herman Justice had a red flashing light on his car and an arsenal of weapons including assault weapons and knives.

Investigators say Justice pulled over a woman for an illegal lane change.

He then allegedly pulled out a gun and told her to get out of the car, and then called Louisiana State Police for backup.

Then, while he waited for state troopers, Justice allegedly brought a pit bull out of his car.

Justice told investigators he is in town to help with oil spill cleanup and to film a documentary.
