Man arrested for attacking girlfriend and her son
BATON ROUGE - Baton Rouge officers have arrested a man after he allegedly attacked his girlfriend and her son.
According to the affidavit, 40-year-old Sidney McCray went to his girlfriend's home on the night of July 4. Upon entering the home, McCray punched his girlfriend repeatedly and accused her of cheating on him.
The victim's 16-year-old son heard his mother screaming and tried to intervene in the assault. McCray then punched the young man repeatedly before leaving the scene.
Upon arrival, police say both victims displayed physical signs of the attack.

McCray was later identified, arrested and booked into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on charges of cruelty to a juvenile, possession of schedule one drugs and simple battery.
