Man arrested for allegedly beating 3-month-old son
KENNER, La. - Police have arrested a Kenner man for allegedly beating his three-month-old son.
Kenner Police spokesman Sgt. Brian McGregor tells WWL TV Tyler Jonathan Eastgate admitted to police the child's continual crying caused him to throw the infant against the wall.
Eastgate was booked Monday with second-degree cruelty to a juvenile.
Police say the infant suffered two head fractures that's caused bleeding on the brain and bruises to his cheek, chin, and chest area.
Eastgate remains in custody and no bond has been set.
It was unclear whether Eastgate has an attorney.
