BAKER - Police arrested an East Baton Rouge man after they said they found a stash of drugs and guns in the same room as his 10-month-old daughter.

Baker Police Chief Mike Knapps said officers arrested Brenton Johnson Jr., 22, after a joint narcotics investigation with the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office.

Knapps said investigators found hundreds of doses of drugs as well as a stolen AK-47 and a stolen handgun, both of which were loaded. They said they also found Johnson's 10-month-old daughter was in the same bedroom as the drugs and guns.

Knapps said Johnson is a convicted felon, and investigators filed numerous drug and gun charges against him.
