TICKFAW - A man was arrested after he tried to flee from deputies during a traffic stop, reports Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Daniel Edwards.
Deputies say Tommy Ray Arnold II, 32, fled from his car after bringing his vehicle to a stop on Hwy 51 in Tickfaw for a traffic violation. He was apprehended after a foot chase through the woods.
After being taken into custody, Arnold was found to be in possession of a marijuana pipe, a pack of syringes, a spoon and a melted pill wrapped in a clear plastic baggie.
Arnold was booked into the Parish Jail with a $10,500 bond.
