Man arrested, accused of burglary in Livingston Parish
A man was arrested after allegedly breaking into a home on Lod Stafford Road near Livingston. Authorities say a witness called to report Daniel Sterritt, 41, attempting to steal from a home, and then driving away.
A deputy spotted the car and pulled it over. Sterritt allegedly refused to get out, but deputies were able to arrest him.
When they searched his car, deputies say they found a skill saw, a weedeater and fishing poles. The victim got his property back.
Sterritt is charged with simple burglary, simple criminal damage to property and resisting an officer.
