Man accused of trying to pay for carnival game with pot
MORGAN CITY - A 25-year-old Morgan City man is out on bond after he allegedly tried to pay to play a carnival game with marijuana.
KATC TV reported the incident allegedly took place Thursday at the Shrimp and Petroleum Festival fairgrounds in Morgan City.
Police say Antonio Marcus Campbell approached a carnival worker and offered him the marijuana. The worker declined the trade, saying he only accepted cash.
Police tracked down Campbell and arrested him. According to investigators, the found a baggie of marijuana in his pocket.
Campbell was booked with possession of marijuana and drug possession in a school zone.
