LIVINGSTON - A man accused of stabbing his wife and cutting their unborn child out of her stomach is scheduled to be in court this afternoon.

Jeffrey Reynolds is due in court around 1 p.m. in Livingston Parish for a hearing over pre-trial motions.

Reynolds faces feticide and attempted murder charges after the stabbing on Oct. 23, 2012. Detectives testified at previous hearings that Reynolds told 911 operators he'd smoke synthetic marijuana that day and was going insane.

News 2 will have more on the hearing tonight starting at 4 p.m.
