Man accused of sexual battery
PONCHATOULA - Sheriff's deputies announced the arrest Tuesday of a man accused of sexually battering someone in Tangipahoa Parish this weekend.
Deputies arrested Brandon Scott Hudson, 31, Monday after getting a tip he was hiding out at a home in Ponchatoula.
Investigators said Hudson was wanted by Hammond Police for an Oct. 5 incident in the parking lot of a business within the city. The next day the sheriff's office was tipped off to Hudson's location, and authorities said they found Hudson hiding in the bathroom of a home on Tiger Creek Lane.
Deputies said Hudson was arrested without incident and charged as being a fugitive for sexual battery out of Hammond.
