Man accused of seventh DWI
PRAIRIEVILLE - Louisiana State Police troopers charged a Denham Springs man with seventh offense DWI after a traffic stop early Tuesday morning.
Troopers and Ascension Parish Sheriff's deputies said they stopped 46-year-old Efremzimbalist Randle around 2 a.m. after getting a report he was driving erratically on I-10 West.
The troopers who stopped Randle said they arrested him after he failed field sobriety tests. Deputies at the Ascension Parish jail took a breath sample when Randle arrived and said it registered over the legal limit.
Deputies booked Randle on charges of DWI, reckless operation, ignition interlock offenses, and other traffic offenses. He was given a $101,999 bond.
