BATON ROUGE – A man accused of paying to have sex with a 14-year-old was arrested Monday.

According to arrest reports, Marcus Jacobs, 33, was charged with second-degree rape, trafficking of children for sexual purposes and sexual battery.

Documents say the attack happened sometime in late Oct. 2015. In an interview at the Children’s Advocacy Center in June 2016, the victim told police a man named Corey Williams invited several friends, including Jacobs, over to the home to have sex with her.

The victim said Williams slapped her across the face when she refused to have sex with Jacobs. She said Jacobs then raped her inside a bathroom. Police say the victim identified her attacker with a photographic lineup.

The victim said she was also sold to another man, 59-year-old Wayne Dyer, a month later. The victim said her mother was in the hospital at the time when Dyer sexually assaulted her at his home.

Dyer was arrested in September and charged with sexual battery and trafficking of a juvenile. He had previous arrests for soliciting for prostitution and other drug charges.

During the same interview with police, the victim said Williams had raped her at least every other week since Oct. 2015.

The victim told investigators about an attack when a drunken Williams molested her after threatening her with a loaded shotgun. During later assaults, he would threaten to kill the girl’s mother and younger siblings if she did not comply with his demands.

In total, the victim told investigators Williams raped her on nine different occasions.

During another attack, the victim told advocates that Williams had held a gun to her head and raped her as her family slept in the next room. She said he told her that he would “blow her brains out” and yanked her back to him by her hair as she attempted to flee.

Williams was arrested in June on two counts of first-degree rape and molestation of a juvenile. Williams is also a registered sex offender due to a previous felony carnal knowledge conviction.
