Man accused of raping 6-year-old
BATON ROUGE - Sheriff's deputies arrested an East Baton Rouge Parish man on suspicion of raping a 6-year-old child.
A department spokesperson said Jerry Primm, 65, is charged with aggravated rape.
Deputies said they were told by the victim's mother Primm was a friend of their family.
In 2003, authorities accused Primm of indecent behavior with juveniles. In 2005 he pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of cruelty to juveniles. A judge sentenced Primm to seven years with credit for time served and suspended the remainder of his sentence, putting him on supervised probation for four years instead.
