Man accused of rape of 11-year-old at park
BATON ROUGE - Police in Baton Rouge say they arrested a man accused of aggravated rape of an 11-year-old Friday.
Police say they walked up to a car and found Patrick Williams, 33, and the victim in the car while on a routine police patrol of a BREC park on S Harrells Ferry Road.
Officers say they noticed the victim's clothing was not on properly and notified the victim's mother. According to the arrest report, Williams called the victim's mother saying he was "sick in the head" and needed help.
Investigators say Williams took the victim to the park around 10:00 p.m. and had sexual intercourse with her in the backseat of his car.
Williams was booked into Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
