Man accused of flashing holiday shoppers
COVINGTON - Deputies in St. Tammany Parish arrested a Covington man after they said he exposed himself twice to holiday shoppers.
Deputies arrested Brian Harris, 26, in suspicion of obscenity on Dec. 28 after witness descriptions led them to his vehicle.
Investigators said they were told on Dec. 11 and Dec. 28 by shoppers at the Covington Walmart that a man was exposing himself to them or performing lewd acts in the parking lot. In the second incident the victim was able to get a license plate number of the man's car, and deputies traced it to Miller.
Deputies went to Miller's home where they found the same vehicle, and questioned him about the incidents. They said he admitted to touching himself in the parking lot, but not exposing himself to anyone.
Harris was booked into the parish jail on a $7,000 bond, which he posted on Dec. 30 according to the sheriff's office.
