Man accused of breaking woman's nose with headbutt
BATON ROUGE - Police arrested a Baton Rouge man after they said he headbutted a pregnant woman in front of her two young children, breaking her nose.
Police accused 25-year-old Sam Mitchell of domestic abuse, battery and child endangerment for the Feb. 10 incident.
Investigators said Mitchell and the victim had been living together for a year, and that the victim was having his baby. Police said the couple were with two children younger than 13 when Mitchell headbutted the victim, breaking her nose.
The woman went to the hospital and told authorities what happened. Police arrested Mitchell and booked him into the parish jail.
