Mail carrier steps past dead man
The Postal Service defends a mail carrier who stepped around a man who fell dead near his front door in Denver. Dale Porch collapsed after being dropped off from work the night before and never made it inside his house. Hours later, the mail carrier walked by the body to deliver the mail but did nothing to help. Porch's family says the mail carrier told them he thought the body was a mannequin, left over from Halloween. An autopsy is pending and the mail carrier was temporarily taken off the route. The Postal Service says its an unfortunate situation that may never have happened any other time of the year.
