NEW ORLEANS - A Covington man contracted to deliver U.S. Postal Service mail has been sentenced to federal prison after admitting to stealing a marked parcel that he believed contained 180 tablets of hydrocodone.
Anthony Holcombe pleaded guilty in August to mail theft.
Holcombe was sentenced to six months in prison and three years of supervision upon his release.
