The international luge federation says there's "no single reason" that caused the death of Georgian racer Nodar Kumaritashvili in a training run at the Vancouver Olympics.
The sport's governing body says "what happened to Nodar has been an unforeseeable fatal accident."
During training in February, only hours before the opening ceremony of the Olympics, Kumaritashvili was flung from the ice at the Whistler Sliding Center and struck a steel pole after losing control of his sled on the final curve.
