LSU's Peterson to play against Mountaineers
LSU tight end Deangelo Peterson suffered a foot injury days before the Tigers faced North Carolina in the Sept. 4 season opener.
It appears Peterson, after sitting out the first three games, will finally have his time to shine.
LSU coach Les Miles said Wednesday that Peterson is at full strength, and he expects the Desire Street Academy graduate to play a significant role Saturday when the Tigers host West Virginia.
The Advocate reports Miles used the term "doubtful" to describe the status of freshman running back Spencer Ware and sophomore receiver Chris Tolliver.
Ware missed the Mississippi State game with a hamstring injury, while Tolliver has yet to play
after suffering a concussion during fall camp.
