LSU WR Trey Quinn takes to Twitter to announce he's leaving Tigers
BATON ROUGE - Sophomore wide receiver Trey Quinn announced his decision to transfer from LSU to a different school on Twitter Tuesday afternoon.
He took the opportunity to thank the university for the educational and athletic opportunities. The tweet reads as follows:
There is no official word on where Quinn is headed or which schools he has spoken with since the program released him, but the field is narrowed down a bit by the fact that he cannot choose an SEC team.
Quinn had 22 career receptions for a total of 276 yards with 0 touchdowns.
Another LSU wide receiver, Kevin Spears, was also released by the program to look at other schools, according to LSU.
