LSU women to host Georgia Tech at PMAC
BATON ROUGE - The LSU Lady Tigers learned they'll host Georgia Tech at the PMAC this Sunday for the first round of the NCAA women's tournament.
The No. 7 Lady Tigers face the No. 10 Yellow Jackets at 11:30 a.m. in the PMAC. Then at 2 p.m. No. 2 West Virginia will take on No. 15 Albany. The winners will face each other Tuesday in the second round game at 2 p.m.
The Lady Tigers ended the season 19-12 (7-9 SEC), and made it into the tournament despite losing 8 of their last 10 games.
Head coach Nikki Caldwell to Sports 2 they were focused on preparing for their first opponent in the tournament.
