LSU women's hoops bounces back with win over Florida
BATON ROUGE - The LSU women's basketball team defeated Florida 82-68 Sunday afternoon as the Tigers bounced back from a loss last week.
Theresa Plaisance led the Tigers with 19 points and Danielle Ballard chipped in 14 points to go with 12 rebounds, as the Tigers never trailed in the game and led by double-digits most of the way.
With the win, LSU improves to 13-3 on the season, 3-1 in SEC play, and the Gators fall to 3-1 in the conference after starting the SEC season 3-0.
LSU hits the court again on Thursday when they travel to Missouri to face the Tigers.
