LSU wins season opener over UNO, 2-0
BATON ROUGE - Aaron Nola got the Tigers off to a great start, pitching six innings without allowing a run and only surrendering four hits.
Nola, however, did hit three batters in his first start.
The Tigers did post runs in the third and sixth innings to take a 2-0 lead to the bullpen, where Joe Broussard pitched his first inning since coming back from Tommy John surgery and missing the entire 2013 season.
Alex Bregman and Kade Scivicque both drove in runs for LSU in the game.
