BATON ROUGE- LSU will be open for business Tuesday, after a bomb threat shut the entire campus down Monday.
"All campus buildings have returned to normal operations and the campus is now open for students, faculty and staff," a spokesperson said in a news release late Monday.
"All classes and events scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 18, will be held as planned, and university employees and students should plan to return to their normal schedules on Tuesday."
Monday morning the 911 call center in Baton Rouge received a vague report that a bomb was somewhere on campus. The phone call prompted an evacuation of the entire Baton Rouge campus, a first in the history of LSU for a bomb threat.
Bomb search crews checked every building from Monday afternoon into Monday evening.
The all-clear was given just before 11 p.m. Monday.
