LSU wide receivers coach Adam Henry leaves for 49ers
BATON ROUGE - The LSU football team is looking for a new wide receivers coach after Adam Henry left for the San Francisco 49ers, the school announced Sunday.
Henry was the position coach for the past 3 years with LSU, mentoring players like Jarvis Landry and O'Dell Beckham Jr, the first pair of receivers to reach 1,000 yards in the same season in school history.
Henry does have prior NFL experience, working with the Oakland Raiders from 2007-'11, but the move comes just days after Henry helped the Tigers haul in another set of promising wide receiver recruits including West Feliciana's Jazz Ferguson.
