LSU travels to Lexington to face Kentucky
BATON ROUGE- Fresh off its first win in the Southeastern Conference against Texas A&M, the LSU Tigers play their next game Saturday in Lexington against the Kentucky Wildcats.
LSU defeated Texas A&M, 58-54, after rallying from being down 14 points twice in the first half of play at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center. The Tigers are now 10-6 on the year, 1-4 in the SEC. The Wildcats have not had the smoothest of trips early in the SEC with a record of 12-6 and 3-2 in the SEC.
Shavon Coleman led LSU on Wednesday night with 17 points, while Johnny O'Bryant III had his second straight double double and his fifth of the season with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
LSU returns homer on Wednesday night to host the other new SEC member, Missouri, at 7 p.m.
