LSU track and field heading to Tyson Invitational
BATON ROUGE - LSU continued preparations for this weekend's Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark., one of the nation's biggest indoor competitions.
It's the second time in the last three weeks the Tigers and Lady Tigers will compete at the Randal Tyson Track Center. They were last there on Jan. 25 and 26 for the Razorback Invitational.
The No. 3-ranked Lady Tigers are among 10 women's teams and No. 6-ranked Tigers are among eight men's teams nationally-ranked in the latest Top 25 ranking released earlier this week by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
After competing in Arkansas the Tigers and Lady Tigers will wrap up the indoor track regular season on Feb. 15, when they host the LSU Twilight meet in Baton Rouge.
