LSU to vote on new system leader today
BATON ROUGE - The Board of Supervisors will meet this morning to vote on the finalist selected to serve as the new system president and chancellor of the main campus.
F. King Alexander held three forums last week to address faculty, staff and students' concerns.
The Faculty Senate has condemned his selection, citing their disapproval over the search process. They also called Alexander's lack of teaching experience at a major research institution into question.
Alexander has been president of California State University Long Beach since 2006.
