LSU to hold annual Tigerama event on Oct. 25

BATON ROUGE – The LSU Tiger Band will hold its annual Tigerama event on Tuesday to celebrate the university's Department of Bands by showcasing musical and performance ensembles.

The event will be held on Tuesday, Oct 25 at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center and will begin with a performance fo school groups at 10:30 a.m. and an evening performance at 7:30 p.m. that will be hosted by 2une In's John Pastorek. The event will feature performances by the Tiger Band, Golden Girls, Colorguard, Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Winds.

General admission tickets for the evening performance are $15. VIP tickets for the show are $100. Proceeds from this year's event will go to support the LSU Marching Band and the Department of Bands in the LSU School of Music.

Through funds raised as the result of previous Tigerama events, the Tiger Band was able to perform in Dublin, Ireland, marking the band's first international trip.
