The early start may be killing LSU's offense, as it appears they've hit the snooze button on moving the ball.
The Tiger offense has yet to move the ball deeper then midfield against Texas A&M, and has continually gone three and out putting their defense on the field against a very dynamic Aggie offense.
Texas A&M marched the opening drive down the field in 12 plays capped off by a Christine Michael two yard touchdown run. The extra point was missed, but then followed up by a second 12 play drive that resulted in a Taylor Bertolet field goal to put the Aggies in front 9-0.
Bertolet just drilled a 50 yard field goal to extend their lead 12-0.
The Tiger offense has 58 total yards compared to the Aggies 241, and A&M has possessed the ball twice as long as LSU 15 minutes compared to 7.
