LSU Tiger pitcher Glenn reinstated to team
BATON ROUGE - LSU Tiger pitcher Cody Glenn has been reinstated to the team in time to participate in the Super Regional tournament.
Head baseball coach Paul Mainieri suspended Glenn just before tournament play began last week due to a violation of team rules.
Today, Mainieri said Glenn's retun was a team decision.
"He delivered a sincere apology to his teammates, and they voted unanimously to have him back with us," he said.
Glenn developed into a starting SEC pitcher for LSU after working his way up from a midweek starters role.
