LSU Tiger basketball team earns first SEC win, 58-54 over Texas A&M
The LSU Tiger basketball team snapped their four game SEC skid with a 58-54 victory over Texas A&M at the Maravich Center on Wednesday night.
Head coach Johnny Jones earned his first SEC victory at LSU and moved his team to 1-4 in conference play,10-6 overall.
LSU forward Shavon Coleman led the Tigers with 17 points, Johnny O'Bryant III posted another double double with 14 points and ten rebounds and guard Anthony Hickey had ten points and eight steals.
The Tigers only shot 36% from the floor, but forced the Aggies into 24 turnovers while limiting their own to just eleven.
LSU is back in action on the road this weekend against the Kentucky Wildcats in Lexington.
